As a lifestyle editor, brand communications strategist and marketer with nearly two decades of experience, Dannielle Kyrillos helps people, projects and companies tell their stories and connect with the right audiences.
As director of brand content for the toymaker Fisher-Price, Dannielle creates campaigns that authentically connect the brand and its story to parents around the world. With her sunny personality and homespun sophistication, she represented Ellen DeGeneres's home decor line, ED On Air, live on QVC. She brings wit and warmth to the culinary demonstrations she hosts with the likes of Bobby Flay and Top Chef Paul Qui, and know-how and fun to the videos she’s shot for clients such as LG, Electrolux and Bounty. Having developed voices for global brands, appeared on television hundreds of times and addressed audiences nationwide, Dannielle is uniquely qualified as a content strategist, communications coach, media trainer, spokesperson, and editorial consultant.
She was part of DailyCandy’s founding team and is a writer, editor, and contributor to websites such as Who’s Hungry? and Fathom. She was a series judge on both seasons of Bravo’s “Top Chef Just Desserts,” a columnist for websites such as Food Republic and City Unlisted, and Gilt City’s national spokesperson. Kyrillos shares inspiring discoveries that make the day-to-day easier and more fun with readers and television audiences across the country. For more than a decade, she's scoured the globe for the people, places and stories that make life more colorful, and has been the first to tell you about them.
As DailyCandy’s editor-at-large, Kyrillos worked with the pioneering website for more than nine years, helping grow the brand from a single edition read by a couple thousand New Yorkers to a multinational publication serving 3 million subscriptions. Dannielle understands what consumers want when it comes to interacting with brands, consuming media and devouring trends. She wrote several chapters of DailyCandy's two books, Daily Candy A to Z: An Insider’s Guide to the Sweet Life and The DailyCandy Lexicon: Words That Don't Exist But Should.
Kyrillos has appeared regularly on NBC's Today, as well as on E! News, BetterTV, CNBC, CNN, and local morning programming across the country. She was a frequent contributor to The Nate Berkus Show and Tyra. For more than five years she helped cover the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen for Plum TV as an on-camera host. She wrote a nationally syndicated style advice column for Gatehouse Media and has been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today and Time magazine, among others. Dannielle was also a frequent contributor to Isaac Mizrahi’s webcasts and appeared in the national print campaign for Liz Claiborne's Isaac-Mizrahi-helmed re-launch, shot by Arthur Elgort.
Dannielle has had a passion for entertaining at home, making things pretty, and baking ever since she was a little girl. Her grandparents owned restaurants at which her great-grandmother made all the pies. Those recipes have been passed down to her, and she counts strawberry rhubarb as her specialty. She lives in New York City with her husband, son and daughter.
